ONDA at the GEO Week 2019

ONDA is pleased to participate in the Industry Track program of the GEO Week 2019, taking place on 4-7 November in Canberra, Australia.
As part of the GEO Week 2019 – which brings together governments, businesses, the research community, non-profits and other stakeholders interacting with Earth observations – the Industry Track program aims at strengthening and broadening the GEO community’s linkages with in the global Earth observation industry.

On the occasion of the CEOS 48th Meeting of the Working Group on Information Systems & Services which took place on 9 October at the Vietnam National Space Center in Hanoi, we provided a live remote presentation on our platform, our users and our evolution.

Supporting Brussels Copernicus Hackathon

The Copernicus Hackathon Programme, financed by the European Commission, brings together developers, entrepreneurs and topic-specific experts to develop new applications based on Copernicus Earth observation data and services.
ONDA will be supporting the forthcoming Sustainable Development Goals Copernicus Hackathon taking place in Brussels, Belgium, on 20-21 November.
Participants will work on a solution for one of the three societal challenges (‘Healthy lives for all’, ‘Nutritious food for all’ and ‘Raw materials in a circular economy’) and will then have the opportunity to showcase it in [...]

Deimos Imaging joins Serco in improving the ONDA Data Relay Service

We are pleased to announce that Deimos Imaging is partnering with Serco to support our efforts in enriching and optimising the new ONDA Data Relay Service.
Deimos Imaging, a fully-owned subsidiary of UrtheCast Corp., is a Spanish commercial entity specialising in the operation and commercial exploitation of Earth Observation systems, and in the development, generation and delivery of Remote Sensing products. ONDA Data Relay Service

The new ONDA Data Relay Service, active since mid-August, allows users to request Very High Resolution (VHR) satellite imagery of both SAR and Optical multi-resolution acquisitions.
Our users are now able to order both Archive and New Acquisition satellite images over specific study areas as well as to trigger satellite monitoring services over features of interest at a desired frequency.
For the purpose of the new service, ONDA has partnered with SI Imaging Services for the dissemination of the KOMPSAT series, [...]
