OVHcloud and Serco for the 5th CASSINI Hackathon
We are happy to share that our Cloud provider OVHCloud and Serco have announced the winners of the 5th CASSINI Hackathon, whose Italian edition took place in Bari on 24-26 March.
In the context of this event, promoted by the European Agency for the Space Program (EUSPA) and organized in Italy by Planetek Italia and Sprint Lab, ONDA allowed participants to access Copernicus products.
The 2 teams who won the technology marathon in Italy, FireWatch and SAR4SAR, developed projects dedicated respectively to satellite monitoring of fires potentially impacting critical infrastructures and satellite monitoring to support Search and Rescue activities at sea.
The hackathon was also an opportunity to confirm OVHcloud and Serco’s constant commitment to promoting innovation in the Space sector.
