Sentinel-2 Collection-1 publication

As part of the Sentinel-2 reprocessing campaign, since 24 January 2023 ONDA has started the publication of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 Collection-1 (Level-1C and Level-2A products), which is being created over the Sentinel-2 historical archive.
All historical data from 2015 (launch of Sentinel-2A) until December 2021 are planned to be reprocessed, starting from December 2021 products, then continuing in reverse chronological order of sensing time.

ONDA Cloud Resources price adjustments

We wish to inform our users that, as from 1 December 2022, a price increase of approximately 10% is applied to the ONDA Cloud Resources, affecting both new and existing services. 
This increase reflects the price changes applied by our cloud provider, OVHcloud: please read here for more information. 
We would like to assure our users that this adjustment does not change the ONDA objectives to foster Earth Observation data access by providing access to state-of-the-art resources and technologies and to bring innovation.  

ONDA at 17th Plinius Conference

Serco Europe, a space industry leader with over 40 years’ experience in supporting the space sector announces a partnership with the prestigious French university HEC Paris to bring Space Data at the heart of the school’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship centre.

New storage technology soon available in ONDA

We are delighted to inform our users that, following the upcoming availability within the OVHcloud catalogue of a new Object Storage solution fully accessible through S3 API, we plan to integrate this new storage technology in ONDA, with the aim to gradually replace the current technologies based on OpenStack and the Cloud Archive.

Serco Europe awarded first space contract in France

Serco Europe has been awarded its first framework contract to support the French public authority Service and Payment Agency’s (ASP) work for the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP).
As part of this 2-year contract (with a possible 2 year-extension), Serco will provide services for hosting and operating a cloud infrastructure for the use of satellite data, images and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to allow monitoring of agricultural parcels of land in France.
